Pregabalin has been reported to cause augmentation. The 2015 study comparing its effectiveness to Pramipexole showed the incidence of augmentation was lower than on Pramipexole but it does happen.I was on 150mg if Pregabalin together with 25mg Oxycontin. It seemed to work just fine for almost exactly two years and then suddenly, on 12/25/23, I started feeling symptoms again that had calmed down quite a bit (heightened nerve sensitivity, dizziness, anxiety, increased heat intolerance, etc). I take 600mg at 7pm and another 600mg at 9pm. It has been a life-saver, quite literally. Until now. I've tried adding an extra pill or 2 during my doses. Nothing. Edit:Spelling I have nerve damage in both legs and extreme pain in my back, which limits my mobility. My doctor has prescribed 6 pills a day, to control the pain. I am also on Neurotin 800mg taking 3pills at bedtime. And recently I have been given sleeping meds as well. It seems as if the medication is not working as well anymore. Gabapentin not Working anymore? So I started taking Gabapentin a month ago and was actually working in the beginning. Now been having a sciatica flare so GP upped my dose to 600 mg 300 am anf 300 PM been taking this dose for a week and no pain relief. Yes it does! I’m on gabapentin and it’s not working I’m all so on co-codamol 30mg/50mg it’s for nerve damage as far as I am aware you’re not to take naproxen with gabapentin go see you’re doctor or ask your Pharmacist maybe your doctor thinking the benefits for you far out ways any risk but I would definitely ask your doctor or Pharmacist.
