NEURONTIN is a drug used for postherpetic neuralgia and epilepsy. The maximum dosage depends on the indication, age, and renal function of the patient. See the full prescribing information for details and warnings. Initial dose: 300 mg once daily, with gradual increases as needed. Maintenance dose: 900-3600 mg per day, divided into three doses.
