My doctor worked with me to find a way to slowly increase the dose to t Pregabalin (Lyrica) worked for me for nerve pain for my neck injury. I was on it a few years ago and I don’t recall having any side effects, however I was on a pretty low dose. I now get nerve block injections and Botox, which has been a god send for my neck pain and nerve pain in neck! But this nerve/neck pain started a few days ago, but was manageable until this morning. I'm also on 200+mg tramadol a day. I'm currently taking 1200mg of gabapentin a day and 60mg of cymbalta daily. Gabapentin completely eliminated the pain and numbess for a bit over a year.
