Rexulti belongs to the drug class called atypical antipsychotics. Rexulti is available as a generic under the name brexpiprazole. Taking Rexulti and Wellbutrin together may increase the exposure of brexpiprazole compared to the use of Rexulti alone, potentially increasing the risk of side effects. Typically, your provider will tell you to take brexpiprazole (Rexulti) once daily at a time that works best for you to take it consistently. But if you experience certain side effects, such as dizziness or tiredness, after starting brexpiprazole (Rexulti), it might be better to take this medication at night. Rexulti (brexpiprazole) has potential interactions with alcohol and other medications. For example, Rexulti can interact with other antipsychotics, such as risperidone (Risperdal).
