Compare Gabapentin vs Pregabalin head-to-head with other drugs for uses, ratings, cost, side effects and interactions. Both pregabalin and gabapentin are antiepileptic medications that bare structural resemblance to gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), though neither agent has activity in GABA’s neuronal systems. Gabapentin and Pregabalin are effective pain management solutions prescribed for nerve pain and seizures. Both these medications are classified as gabapentinoids, but there are some distinctions between the two medicines.
