I can literally be talking to someone trying to pay attention and instantly forget what we are talking about unfortunately they really help taking the edge off the pin. I’ve brought the dose down to where I don’t have such bad brain fog but the Gabbie’s don’t work quite as well but still Has anyone with brain fog due to gabapentin taken it with citicoline? My 91 yr old mom with Alzheimer’s is on gabapentin for nerve pain and while it’s helped tremendously for that, she is worse cognitively. I’ve been giving her citicoline but wondering if I should increase the dose. I had the same type of symptoms coming off of it that I had when I first started taking it. Extreme fatigue, dizziness, balance issues, brain fog. I also had increase of nerve pain but that was expected. I’m back on it now. 800mg 3x daily. I've found that Wellbutrin and gabapentin balance each other nicely. Solves the gaba brain fog for me completely. So called brain fog/sedation is strictly dose dependent. The higher the dose, the more severe it gets and vice versa.
