Numbness and tingling is reported as a side effect among people who take Gabapentin (gabapentin), especially for people who are female, 60+ old, have been taking the drug for 2 - 5 years also take Lyrica, and have Multiple sclerosis. My new doctor put me on Gabapentin and it truly was miraculous for me. I am 75 in a couple of months and in what I consider fairly good health.
