Gabapentin is a medication that treats nerve pain by calming overactive nerves in your body. It may also prevent and control seizures in people with epilepsy. You can take this medication by mouth with a glass of water. Each gabapentin capsule contains 100 mg, 300 mg, or 400 mg of gabapentin and the following inactive ingredients: anhydrous lactose, cornstarch, and talc. The 100 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, and titanium dioxide. The 300 mg capsule shell contains gelatin, sodium lauryl sulfate, titanium dioxide, and yellow iron oxide. 2.2 Dosage for Epilepsy with Partial Onset Seizures. Patients 12 years of age and above.
