Cassie57, I was taking gabapentin 600mg×5 a day. Swelling in feet ,ankles, hands. Then I started feeling like my shoulder was being ripped off my body and my neuropathy problems progressing. I am taking Gabapentin 300 mg. 3x a day I have been taking it for one week mow and yesterday I noticed a slight swelling in my ankles and maybe hands. Tonight my ankles are swollen. I looked on line at SE and it said to call your dr. if this happens. What is going on? He dx. me with Brachioradial pruritus. He said I had arthritis in spine. Background. Then I started gaining weight and I was tired all the time. I had many other bad side effects so I’m tapering off it now. I wish that I had never started taking it. Hi can I ask at any point having u struggled to breath on gabapentin, I've had loads of the serious side effects but for a year I've not been able to breath i have really struggled to breathe. I've cut them dwn to 100mg now still on a 100, wen I started cutting g dwn my breathing improved uve been on a 100 for 2 weeks and the breathing problems Swelling (Edema): Swelling of the hands, feet, or ankles.
