I found mirtazapine 15mg worked straight away although even then it only got me 3 hours sleep so thought I’d try something else with the trazodone Personally, I wake up every 30 to 50 minutes all night long every single night. Thanks, As a RN also with really bad insomnia, trazadone should always be tried first; way less side effects. Seroquel has many long lasting side effects; and comes with a heavy weight gain. I was using 25mg Traz (1/2 of a 50mg).
