Gabapentin enacarbil is eliminated primarily in the urine (94%) and to a lesser extent in the feces (5%). The elimination half-life of gabapentin is 5.1 to 6.0 hours. Management of Postherpetic Neuralgia The apparent elimination half-life (t ½β) in patients with RLS receiving gabapentin enacarbil 600 or 1,200 mg/day for 12 weeks was 6.3 and 6.6 h (Table 1) .
