Gabapentin is generally effective for RLS, but your experience of breakthrough symptoms suggests that your current dose or timing might no longer be optimal. The dosage you're taking—600 mg three times daily—is within the usual range for Gabapentin, which can go up to 2400 mg per day or even higher in some cases under a doctor’s supervision.
