I have been taking Pregabalin for the past 8 weeks for neuropathy as my feet were driving me nuts. I also take alpha lipoic acid twice a day on my doc's advice. I have idiopathic small fibre neuropathy, so there aren't a lot of options out there besides treating the symptoms. I got peripheral neuropathy from a medication so I've been on gabapentin for 10 years now to treat it. I've never gotten tired from it but I do recommend to take the first dose on a day off to see how it effects you.
