After a multitude of drugs, my answer was originally found in Gabapentin. The first night I took this I could sleep and lay on my face. Unfortunately I have the pain 24/7. I was diagnosed about six months ago. I take 300mg of gabapentin 3 times a day, but still have occasional flare ups if something triggers them. I don't know if it's normal or not but that's how it is for me. I just do my best to avoid triggers.
