Has anyone started itching after being on Gabapentin? I only been on 400 mg/day for 5 weeks but the last three days I started getting some itching. No rash. In the present study, the use of oral gabapentin 300 mg a day for the treatment of itching caused by NP showed to be efficient and led to a significant improvement in rates of itching intensity as assessed by the VAS. My dosage is 300 MG as needed whenever I experience severe needle-like itching on one or both arms. My itching typically vanishes within 20 minutes after taking one 300 MG capsule. However, Gabapentin is not my first choice as I typically use an ice pack on the effected area first and only take Gabapentin if the ice pack is ineffective. Gabapentin 300 MG itching to death.
